Martin Lightbody Chairman
Martin Lightbody joined the Board in February 2007 with the purchase of the Lightbody Group. He was previously Managing Director of this business and led its growth from nowhere in 1995 to become the UK's leading supplier of celebration cakes 10 years later. He is a trained baker and confectioner and is a member of the British Confectioners’ Association.
Martin became Chief Executive Office in September 2008 for an interim period until the appointment of John Duffy in September 2009. He took over from David Marshall as Chairman of the Group with effect from 25 November 2009.
